Männedorf Hospital, which has relied on the emotions intranet since 2011, faced the challenge of improving internal communication without losing the proven features of their existing intranet. To achieve this, the hospital decided to integrate Beekeeper - a mobile communication app.

emotions rose to the challenge by seamlessly integrating Beekeeper via API (Application Programming Interface) into the existing intranet. This allowed staff to continue using their familiar environment whilst easily incorporating new features. External staff also receive all relevant information directly through the emotions intranet without incurring additional licence costs for Beekeeper.

This solution maintained the system's flexibility and enabled straightforward control over content distribution and access. The outcome demonstrates the strengths of the emotions intranet solution: it offers Männedorf Hospital both cost-efficiency and seamless integration of new features, optimising internal communication processes, including mobile access, and ensuring smoother operations.
